Few artistic expression represents the brasilian cultural diversity as much as the handicraft art. Come and see the showroom of “Espaço Cultura” where you can find works by 90 brazilian artists and associations selected by Brazilian Ministry of Culture through the Cultural Showcases edict – a Project of productive inclusion wich strengthens the national handicraft art.

In Salvador, the cultural space works at Public Library of the State of Bahia/Pedro Calmon Foundation in the downtown area, from june 18th to July 13 th. This action has the support of the Secretariat of Culture of the State of Bahia (SecultBA).

The ceramics, indigenous cfrafts, the tradicional pieces made of lace, each piece carries the cultural identity and the life history of a community, from various regions of Brazil. Do not miss the opportunity to experience  the rich artistic prodution of the country during the world cup, wich will be displayed for live exhibithion and sale in the host cities of the event.

 Movies on the World Cup / Walter da Silveira’s movie theater

Salvador also receives the “Movies on the World Cup – Culture 2014” (Cinema na Copa – Cultura 2014) in Walter da Silveira’s movie theater. The new films selected by edict “Culture 2014” will be displayed until the 29th of June, except on days 20, 23, 25 and 28/06 because of the World Cup matches.
