Journalists will visit beaches and sights of Salvador and the North Coast

Did you know that Salvador has over 50 km of beaches? Thinking about those who do not know Salvador coastline, the State of Bahia has prepared a special script that includes a walk to the most beautiful urban beaches in the capital of Bahia like Porto da Barra, with calm, clear waters, and Farol da Barra, which is one of the postcards of the city Itapuã, always remembered in samba and Bossa Nova songs.
If you are interested, join us next Monday (23). There is no need of previous registration but the places are limited by order of arrival. The trip is reserved only for journalists accredited by the OMC and FIFA. The departure time is at 9 am and the return will be at 12am. The group will leave the Open Media Center of Bahia (BA-CAM) and returns to the same place.
On Tuesday, 24, the press tour take the journalists to Mercado Modelo and Senhor do Bonfim Church, must-see sites for anyone visiting Salvador. The tour includes: Elevator Lacerda, Mercado Modelo, São Bento Monastery, Church of Bonfim and Ponta do Humaita. Departure at 9am Open Media Center, in Praça da Sé. On Thursday (26), will be the day to meet one of the hottest destinations of the North Coast, the Praia do Forte. Famous for the preservation of turtles, the beach is 12 km long, bordered by dunes, coconut trees and natural pools. The attractions are related to the environmental reserves and the ruins of Castelo Garcia D’Avila, the first Portuguese fortification in Brazilian lands.
To participate of this one-day trip to Praia do Forte, you must subscribe through email presstripbahia@gmail.com until 12pm on Wednesday, 25. Inform name, e-mail, document number identification (passport or ID card) and the name of journalistic vehicle for which he works. Places are limited and you must wait for confirmation of your enrollment.
The press trips are free and exclusive to journalists accredited by FIFA and / or the OMC-BA. An initiative of the Government of Bahia, with performance Bahiatursa, the rides will have guides who speak Portuguese, English and Spanish.
