A new route of exposure to open air begins to be outlined in the streets of the Historic Centre of Salvador with street art, which has been produced by graffiti artists from the groups Salvador Collective Muses and My Love. The initiative of the Officer of the Old Centre of Salvador, linked to the Government of Bahia, aims to create a serie of panels on walls and frontages in areas being reclassified in the region.

The works can be seen at Praça dos Veteranos, at JJ Seabra Street and on the slopes of Cine Pax and Ladeira da Praça, this last one still in production. The intention is to create a roadmap of exposure to open air in places where the Rehabilitation Plan of the Old Centre of the city, a State Government project, is been executed.

The first panel, the “Xaréu and Pelô Boy” on Veterans Plaza was inspired by the song “Miracles of the People” by Caetano Veloso. The film is highlighted in Slope Pax, along with the child down the hill in the shopping soapbox car. Other images typical of Bahia, as the barge and queen of the waters round the panel.
