Students from public schools live the excitement of the World Cup in the Arena Fonte Nova

Students from public schools are living the emotions of the World Cup in a very special way. Through ‘Escola na Copa’ Project, an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MEC), in partnership with FIFA, 2,300 tickets were given to 46 students of public schools to watch the matches in Arena Fonte Nova: Spain x Netherlands, Portugal x Germany, France x Switzerland and BiH x Iran.

Anyone who watched the first matches vibrated with victories and classifies these moments as unforgettable. The student Alex Bruno Brito Gonçalves, 16 years old, 8th grade at Severino Vieira School, watched the game Netherlands 5 x 1 Spain and was very excited. ”It is amazing to watch a match of the World Cup in my own city and see such many different people from many different cultures at the same vibration. This opportunity will be unforgettable for me”, celebrated.

LOOKING FORWARD
Other students are looking forward for the day of the next match at Arena Fonte Nova . Zenon Santana Machado, 14, and Adriel Costa dos Passos, 15, students of the 1st grade of the Raphael Serravalle School, are counting down to watch the match Switzerland X France, on Friday (20), at Fonte Nova.

“I’m anxious. It is much excitement watching a live game of the World Cup in my city. For those who like soccer like me, getting a ticket was a gift, “said Zenon. His collegue Adriel, who is also counting the days to experience the emotion of the game, says his expectations are high. “I’m excited to see the game in Fonte Nova, feel the vibration of the people. It will be very good. ”

The student Ainoã Oliveira Costa, of the 2nd grade in Ypiranga School, who will also watch the match Switzerland x France, shows his excitement. “School Cup’ project is very cool and I’m very happy for having this opportunity because I love soccer. I’ve never been in a soccer stadium before and it will my first time. It will be even more special because it is in a World Cup. What a luck! “. The Principal of the school Rosa Amparo highlights: “We are proud of hosting a World Cup. I think this idea of bringing the students to the matches is phenomenal”.
