Powers of the Acting President

The Acting President assumes all presidential powers and duties as head of the Executive Power until the final judgment of the deposed President.

Main functions of the Acting President:

> Be the head of the Federal Government Federal
> Appoint and exonerate ministers of State
> Command the Armed Forces
> Propose amendments to the Constitution and to bills
> Sanction or reject bills approved in Congress
> Issue decrees and edit provisional measures
> Maintain relations with foreign States and diplomatic representatives
> Celebrate International acts, subject to a referendum of the Congress
