Diversity
Brazil is formed by several different ethnic groups of African, European and native Indian origin. Immigration has been an extremely important factor in the formation of Brazilian national cultural diversity since the arrival of the Portuguese centuries ago, ensuring incorporation of characteristics from many parts of the world. Moreover, the social rights of ethnic groups are ensured by the Federal Constitution, which stipulates that the State must protect all cultural variations.
In addition to determining Brazilian features and skin color, this diversity also set the tone for architecture, ranging from colonial baroque to modernism; music - with variations ranging from the original roots of Samba through to Bossa Nova; gastronomy - with a mix of flavors varying from the North to the South; and even the language - Portuguese spoken with many different accents.
In addition to the cultural mix, as a country with grand dimensions Brazil offers eight thousand kilometers of beaches, natural beauty, eco-tourism and entertainment.
