Increase in the number of jobs

Brazil achieved a record in the creation of formal jobs in 2010. According to information from Caged (General Roll of Employment and Unemployment), disseminated by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, 2.52 million formal jobs were recorded. Before that, the highest number had been registered in 2007, with the creation of 1.617 million jobs.
