What is COP?

Since Earth Summit in 1992, the United Nations organized the COP (Conference of Parties) to discuss two themes: biodiversity (biannual meetings) and climate (annual). In these meetings, the participating countries commit themselves to preserve species of animals and plants, and reduce levels of greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere
