In this way it contributes to increasing revenue, productivity and competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets.

Sibratec is organized into three types of networks, called components: Innovation Centers, Technological Services, and Technological Outreach. Click here to learn more about Sibratec (content in Portuguese).

Innovation Centers

Innovation Centers have themed networks formed by development units or groups belonging to technological research institutes, research centers or universities with experience in interacting with companies.

The networks generate and transform scientific and technological knowledge into commercially viable products, processes and prototypes, promoting innovation.

Technological services

Sibratec's Technology Service Networks comprise laboratories, accredited entities or organizations that have a laboratory quality management system. They support the infrastructure for calibration, testing, analysis, and compliance evaluation services both at the compulsory and voluntary levels, the training of human resources, the improvement of laboratory quality management, proficiency testing programs and standards and technical regulation activities designed to serve companies' market access needs.

Technological Extension

The State Technology Extension Networks bring together entities that specialize in technology extension work in the region in an institutional arrangement. This consists of local technical, managerial and financial support entities, involving the state S&T department, or the entity in the state that has this function, representatives of the economic sectors, the Regional Development Bank, the Research Foundation (FAP), Sebrae, IEL and R&D institutions.

The objective of this component is to promote the transfer of technology to solve minor bottlenecks in technological management, to adapt products and processes and improve production management in micro, small and medium enterprises.
