The Government of Bahia presents to the public, on Thursday (26), the booklet "World Cup without Racism", produced by the State Secretariat for the World Cup Affairs (Secopa-BA) and by the Secretariat for the Promotion of Racial Equality (Sepromi-BA). The event takes place at the Open Media Centre (CAM-BA) at 9am, with the participation of the Secretaries of Secopa and Sepromi, Ney Campello and Raimundo Nascimento, respectively.

The booklet aims to stimulate the debate and guide the population to combat racism. It is already being distributed in places of great circulation of fans, tourists and journalists who are in Bahia following the FIFA World Cup 2014.

The contents of the booklet presents a historical context of racism in football, definitions and legal information, such as excerpts of laws that address the subject. You can also find a list of contacts of institutions that provide assistance and care to the victims or that can be used in cases of complaint.
