St John of Bahia has investments of more than R$ 21 million
More than 100 attractions if present in St John of Bahia, between national artists and musicians Bahians, June 18-24 in the Historic Center of Salvador. The feasts of June, organized by the Office of the Secretary of Tourism of Bahia and Tour Company of Bahia (Bahiatursa), include the sponsorship of Saint John, days 23 and 24, in approximately 240 cities; the Forrocopa in 30 municipalities, partnership with the State Department for Matters of the World Cup (Secopa), which in addition to attractions of "forro-of-the-mountain (traditional), will also display of games of the World Cup on TV screens in high definition; and the State Championship of Dance.
The president of the Bahiatursa, Diogo Medrado, explained that the funding of more than R$ 21 million for the completion of the St John are the result of agreement between the Bahiatursa, Banco Brazil and Petrobras. "Only in Salvador, the value reaches R$ 7.5 million. The approximately 240 municipalities were covered with money to support, as a result of a notice of call public", he added.
Mundial matches - Widescreens armed beside the main square, the Terreiro de Jesus, display the games of the World Cup. The decor brings elements of the feast and the World Cup, emphasizing the Brazilianness and showing how great symbol the heart, in addition to the National Flag, the cacti Northeasterners, twine, balloons and flags of St John.
